6. Collages for the title: The Loneliness of Social Media

collages effectively convey the paradox of social media, it offers connections yet can lead to profound loneliness. The use of hands, threads, and abstract elements illustrates the control, manipulation, and fragmentation experienced by users. The chaotic backgrounds reflect the overwhelming nature of digital life, while the central figures' obscured identities represent the loss of self amidst the digital noise. Through these visual metaphors, the collages capture the essence of feeling isolated despite being virtually surrounded by others.

Onwards.....
I often struggled with making decisions when I had to lead, but thrived as a team member on projects, whether they impacted me personally or professionally as a designer. However, a workshop conducted by Cecilia Martin helped me find and define my unique voice as a designer.
During the workshop, participants were grouped according to their distinct voices. As a graphic designer with a passion for branding, particularly using geometric layouts with a modern touch, I found it challenging to explore this interest in my previous organizations and within the group. When working on the branding group project, each member had a different unique voice, which made it quite challenging for all of us, including myself. Despite this, I still feel that I have yet to fully discover myself in this field of interest.
Workshop

In the workshop, our group decided to start a brand functioning as an agency for clients, creating unique, modern designs with a hint of humour. Although challenging, we aimed to "memeify" our work to appeal to Gen-Z. This process allowed us to use our distinct voices creatively. We listed the pros, cons, and impacts of the problems, and considered potential, albeit imperfect, solutions. Our brand's purpose is to spread awareness about marketing and make it "stand out."We developed the brand name "Uniquate," offering marketing services dedicated to amplifying the authentic uniqueness of brands. Our strategy focuses on "Brand Differentiation," emphasizing the distinct characteristics, attributes, and advantages of each brand, service, or product.
In today's competitive landscape, where consumers face a myriad of similar options, standing out is crucial.
Uniquate specializes in showcasing each brand's individuality, ensuring they shine amidst the competition. We address the challenge of capturing consumers' attention in a saturated market by highlighting unique aspects and benefits. This differentiation attracts customers, fosters brand loyalty, and ensures longevity.
Establishing a robust brand presence is fundamental to success. Uniquate evaluates a brand's strengths and aligns them with customer benefits, effectively communicating the brand's value proposition and capturing clients' attention.
4o
We created a small animation story from scratch, leveraging my additional skills in graphic design. Using an aquatic theme with blue and green tones, we introduced a unique element: a four-legged fish with an upside-down heart mouth, symbolizing an odd yet unique adventure in the ocean.
Our methodology focuses on linking a brand's superior aspects with tangible customer benefits. Through targeted messaging and strategic positioning, we highlight the brand's strengths and unique identity, setting it apart and fostering a deep consumer connection. Uniquate is dedicated to helping brands navigate the competitive market by accentuating their authentic uniqueness. Our comprehensive approach to brand differentiation empowers brands to carve out their niche, resonate with consumers, and thrive in the modern business landscape.

Refugee Project
Overview: This interdisciplinary project aims to create a comprehensive design strategy to support refugees and asylum seekers in Hatfield. The focus is on facilitating their integration into the local community through targeted interventions addressing basic needs, healthcare, education, employment, and social integration.

Aim:
This project aims to alleviate the challenges faced by refugees, particularly single women, by providing them with the tools and support needed to integrate into the community. By addressing unemployment and homelessness, the initiative seeks to create a safer, more inclusive environment that benefits both the refugees and the local population.
The collage titled "Nowhere People" is a powerful and emotional artwork that shows the difficult experiences and feelings of refugees. It highlights their struggles and the sense of being uprooted from their homes, giving viewers a deep understanding of their hardships and resilience.
Logo formation

The video highlights the significant challenges refugees face, including unemployment, homelessness, and social isolation, and proposes targeted interventions to address these issues, aiming to help refugees integrate into the local community. Special emphasis is placed on supporting vulnerable groups, particularly single women and children, who often experience the greatest difficulties.
